Advocate Georgina Buchanan is an accomplished legal practitioner with rights of appearance in the High Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, and Constitutional Court of South Africa. Practising from High Court Chambers Cape Town, she offers a unique, multidisciplinary approach to complex litigation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and legal counselling.

Georgina holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s prestigious Organizational Conflict Resolution Programme. Her additional qualifications in Counselling, Communication, and Process Development from the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) complement her legal expertise, providing a distinct advantage in high-stakes legal matters requiring psychological insight and conflict resolution skills.

Her legal career spans significant experience in litigation, criminal law, family law, commercial disputes, and strategic ADR. Having worked across legal, corporate, and counselling sectors, Georgina integrates legal knowledge with human behavioural understanding, delivering client-centric, solution-driven outcomes.

She has demonstrated a strong commitment to access to justice, particularly through her work in underserved communities, focusing on victim empowerment, child welfare, and social justice initiatives.
